Pastor Suzanne Figaro-Henderson, born in the City of San Fernando, The Republic of Trinidad & Tobago. Later migrating to New York City where she obtained her GED, before settling down in Mobile Alabama. Pastor Suzanne is a mother of 5 and grandmother of 13 who believes that there is no better knowledge than an continuing knowledge as she is currently continuing her education in ministry.
Born & raised in Wilmer, AL.
Attended University of South Alabama. & Southwest State Technical School of Drafting & business.
Worked for US Army Corps of Engineers in Mobile, AL. then to Washington DC, and on to Charleston, SC.
Returned to Mobile where I met & married my husband, Richard V. Lauber. We did a tour of work in Amite, Louisiana & Loxley, Alabama. Returning after 15 years to live & retire in Midtown Mobile, AL.
A native of Mobile, AL the son of the late Dr and Mrs Judson R. Martin Jr. He graduated from Theodore High School and attended Faulkner State Junior college and the University of South Alabama. He received his formal training in piano and organ from the late Mrs Martha Duckworth of Mobile. He is the co-founder and first conductor of the Port City Men’s Chorus (2007-2008) and a former member of the music staff for the Mobile Chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, the Port City United Voices. He has served at many churches in the Mobile area as the chief pianist/organist, including: Cornerstone MCC, St. Francis Street UMC, West Wilmer UMC, Whistler UMC, Third Baptist MBC, and is currently serving as Music Director at Westside UMC. He is retired from the Mobile County Public School System’s Environmental Studies Center and resides in Theodore AL.
